o you like a book that has you having to think and wonder what is going to happen next? Do you like a book in which the bedroom is on FIRE? Do you like reading anything by Jennifer Foor? If you do, then get this book. First off, it's a standalone with a dual point of view for each book. This is a two part book in one book. Two strangers found each other during a storm. The sex was off the charts. Erica had always been sort of a prude. Reed a sexy biker stumbled upon Erica's bed and breakfast during a storm. Let's just say things heated up right away. The first part of the book is told from Erica's point of view. These characters didn't know about each other, but they knew the attraction and heat was there. The second part of the book comes months after the first part ended. This part is seen through Reed's point of view. We know that Reed has a secret. We spend most of the second part wondering when the other shoe is going to drop and what that secret is. Man is it a humdinger. There is no cliffhanger. It won't take you long to read the book because you won't want to stop reading. You are always wondering when you are going to find out the truth.Product details

Riding It Out Jennifer Foor Books Reviews
I am a big fan of the author, I've read so many of her books that I've lost count. With that said I was totally confused with this book. It's not one of her best that's for sure. It was as if she was rushed in writing it. I feel like there were so many things left unsaid. It has such a good story line but not enough detail. There are some great moments in this book but it just lacks emotion an place of being.
WOW What an incredible way to start 2015!
Part 1 starts with The Storm - raging outside and inside with Erica and Reed! Hot and "fall in love" romantic!
Part 2 The Hurricane - OMG I did not see this coming!! There are secrets and then there are SECRETS!!! I was so afraid Erica was going to just flip out!! I Loved Reed and just wanted him to get to tell his story!
SO good - absolutely Loved it!!! Pages just turned themselves - could not put it down.

This is a great heartwarming story about love, understanding, forgiving, and accepting things you can't change. The night of the storm when Erica meets Reed they have a instant connection, little did she know that he might not be who he says he is, or that he is hiding something, that could change everything between them. I Loved how Reed grew into such amazing caring person towards the end of the book, it brought tears to my eyes. He really loved his best friend, and would do whatever it took to make him proud, and make major changes in his life to make that happen, hoping that the women he loves would stand by him.
OMG The twist in the plot was a kick straight right to the junk. Wow J4 blew me away and I loved every page of this book. There was not one page I wanted to miss. I hung on every word. We all have read a few books where they are good but you can skip some pages and you don't miss much. J4 books never fall in this category. She is an instant 1 click for me. I enjoy all of her books and look forward to her latest releases. This love story is a test of faith and believing in that "higher power" has a plan for those who enter our lives. Now let's not forget that J4 never fails to bring the freaking heat with the "love" factor. A definite must read for all the #foorwhore s out there
Part One - The Storm is a great introduction to the story of an uptight office worker and a former soldier. She has just inherited her aunt's bed and breakfast and he is looking for a purpose. Wonder what will create a bigger whole the tree crashing through the roof or the void in her heart when he rides off on his Harley.
Part Two - The Hurricane takes us a year into the future when things are about to change dramatically - Hurricane Melissa accidentally aims for the b&b and the outcome will surprise you!

This was my last read for 2014 and what a great choice I made. This was a quick read a great steamy romance with a secret I didn't see coming. I loved their story, the story of Reed and Erica.
Erica inherits her aunt's water front bed and breakfast. Erica is a workaholic and only has plans to sell the place and get on with her life. After signing the papers legally making her the new owner, Erica is driving back to the B&B in a horrific storm. Alone in this big house, that she has the fondest of memories of when the doorbell rings and there stands a handsome stranded strange man. Erica is hesitant about letting him in, but she does (I don't think I would have, but then there wouldn't be a book or story) The stranger, Reed, is ex military handsome, slightly older man. The two share an uneventful night. No electricity, fireplace, candles and some wine, hot guy, beautiful girl. Two parts told in different POV's
Erica and Reed meet during a terrible storm at the B&B she just inherited from her aunt. Erica is unsure what she wants to do with this unexpected inheritance and Reed shows up to get out of the storm and helps her when a tree collapses on part of the roof. Erica and Reed find themselves instantly attracted to each other but Erica is more than reluctant to see where it goes. Reed tells Erica that he is insanely attracted to her and finally wears her down. Reed them leaves after Erica confesses she doesn't know where this thing with them or the B&B is going. Several months later, Erica gets surprised by Reed again and he tries to work it out with her. Part 2 shows us that Reed has been keeping some big secrets from Erica and, as always, they wind up blowing up in his face. Jennifer Foor does a good job at keeping you in suspense as to what his secrets are and why he did what he did, but you find out the whole story and are left wondering how they are going to survive this. Overall a good story and enough plot twists to keep you guessing.
